The best choice 3-in-1 for any maker: the v2 of the popular Snapmaker modular 3D printer, CNC miller and laser engraver. For beginners as well as professionals, the Snapmaker offers a rich feature-set allowing you to use your creativity to make whatever you want. The many improvements over the previous generation Snapmaker give you even more flexibility and reliability, and is available in three models to fit the build size you need. This is the A250 version with a build volume/working area of 230x250mm.
The machine does need some assembly, but can be done by anyone with limited technical skills easily by following the simple assembly guide. The Snapmaker 2 comes with three different modules that easily can be interchanged: 3D print head, laser engraver and CNC miller. The machine can be controlled using the 5" Smart Touchscreen as well as from your computer. The controller software, link available in the documentation section, is easy to use and feature rich.
Main feature of the machine include:
The box includes the machine including work modules, magnetic build platform, 1kg PLA filament.
The 3D printer module comes with auto bed leveling feature for easy re-calibration after switching from one of the other main machine functions and the filament detection sensor avoid running out of filament. The direct drive extruder allows you to print flexible filament like TPU, while the 275 ℃ hotend enables the use of PETG. The magnetic bed allows easy remove of 3D prints while giving a good adhesion.
3D printing main features:
Using the milling module, you can CNC precisely carve or cut different materials and are not limited to soft materials anymore: also hardwood, PCB, acrylic, POM, carbon fiber sheet, can be used now. Also great for DIY electronics project to carve a PCB circuit from copper plated PCBs. Depending on the blade you can cut up to at least 15mm using the 50W spindle module. Your projects can be clamped using the provided bed clamps.
CNC carving main features:
Read the safety manual before use, always protect eyes using the provided safety glasses. Only use the module on supported materials, metals and glass are NOT supported.
Great for making prints on T-shirts, wood, bags, etc: no problem for the included 1600W laser module. You can even use the laser to cut through plywood, cardboard, acrylic and similar materials. The included camera in the laser module allows you to project the image onto your project, so you can easily position the laser.
